Indulging ourselves is one of the simple joys of life. However, having too much of a good thing can be tiresome and even dangerous. Over indulging in anything is never a good idea, even things that can be good for us. This applies to our health too. Going overboard on anything can affect our health. Women are some of the biggest culprits in over indulging and is more prone to getting health issues from it. Below are some of the things that women should to in moderation to maintain a healthy life.

Going Online

We are in a time where people can do almost anything online. They can shop, talk to their friends, watch TV shows and so on. The average time people should dedicate online should never exceed a few hours and have breaks in between. Though, if you are someone that has to face a computer to make a living. You are already using one fourth or half of your day online. Once you get home, you add another few hours by going on social media or going to different sites. Imagine the amount of pressure and stress you are putting in your eyes. Women are more prone to eye problems than men, making it important to limit your screen time. Even your phone screen can add strain on the eyes.

Drink

Drinking is a great way to bond with your friends or just have a good time. Though, if you are someone that chugs a bottle of wine a night or drinks half a six pack a day, then this habit becomes destructive. Alcohol can be good for the body in small doses. Over consumption can lead to a lot of serious health risk, such as liver problems, obesity and diabetes. Remember, alcohol is not a necessity of life. It is something we need to consume in moderation.

Exercise

Ever heard of someone that over exercised that collapsed? Or someone that over exerted themselves in the gym that their colon relapsed? All of these things are possible when we over exercise. What is mainly considered an important part of keeping ourselves healthy can be deemed dangerous too. When you go overboard on exercise you are prone to injury, dehydration and over exhaustion. Never over exert your body to the point that it feels like it wants to give out. Your body is a temple that you need to take care off. Rest and relaxation is a part of taking care of your body.

Sex

Another thing that is completely healthy that can be dangerous if done in excess. Making love is one of the best past time and form of exercise. However, doing this for 15 hours in a row is bad for your health. Not only are you prone to muscle strain, chaffing and soreness in your private parts. You are also more prone to getting UTI’s or other infections. Give your body a rest and try to separate them. There has been a case where a couple over exerted themselves during sex that they had double heart attacks and died on the spot. That is something you really don’t want to happen to you.

Cleaning Supplies

Strong cleaning supplies such as bleach are bad for the health, more so if inhaled for a long period of time consecutively. This can lead to serious health problems in the future.

Over Working

We all need to work to make a living. However, if you are overworking yourself to the point that you are sleeping four hours a day, losing hair from stress and having permanent bags under your eyes then this is a whole level of health complications. Lack of sleep, exhaustion and stress has a lot of negative effects on the body. Being a workaholic is not a compliment if you are working yourself to an early grave.

Makeup

Never allowing your skin to breathe can cause clogging of the pores that can lead to acne. Try your best to dedicate at least two days of no makeup to allow the skin to replenish itself. It is also important to avoid sleeping with makeup on.

Some of these things we do almost every day and never think too much of the consequences of the action. Though, as you may now know; everything we do will have an effect on our body. Some can be good and some can be bad. Things that we think are good for us, when done in excess can bring us complication. It’s best to keep these things in moderation and avoid going overboard. This will keep your mind and body healthy a lot longer.
