Under Eye Puffiness

Under eye puffiness is often the result of water retention. This can be caused by lack of sleep, crying and consuming too much water retaining foods such as salt and alcohol. If you managed to cut down from consuming these types of food and fix your sleeping schedule and still y our eye puffiness remains, this may mean that it is the result of allergies. Allergies can cause the under eye area to look inflamed and puffy. You can reduce this by using antihistamine that you can buy over the counter. Use this a few times a week and see the difference.

Prevent It with Ice

We often feel a pimple before it appears on our face. If you see a small bump on your skin or experience pain when you press into your skin, this is a sign of an oncoming pimple. Prevent it from popping out and ruing in your skin. Take an ice cube and rub it over the area. Do this until the ice cube melts. This will constrict the blood vessels, reducing the inflammation and redness.

Even Protection

Applying an even amount of sunscreen can be a bit difficult. To ensure optimum protection, apply it two coats on your face. This will prevent uneven tanning, if you’re exposed to too much sunlight. Measure the amount of products you use by taking your index finger and creating a line with your product. Use this measurement for each coat. Don’t forget to apply two coats of sunscreen on your neck too.

Even Tone

Whatever product you apply on your skin should be applied in other areas of the body. You don’t want to have a bright and clear face, but have a dark neck or hands. You can get rid of this build up by getting your lymphatic system circulating properly. Ten minutes of deep breathing and yoga can help circulation. You can also try massages that targets the lymphatic system.

Dark Circles

One of the hardest things to get rid of is our dark circles. This is incredibly prominent part of the face and applying concealer on it every day can be a hassle and buying products to hide it can be expensive. Dark circles can be caused by the hollow underneath the eyes. Using a hyaluronic acid filler in this area can minimize the discoloration. This type of fillers can last up to a year.
