Those delicious sweet treats are sure to be enticing but if you are trying to keep your calorie intake down, you know you have to turn your back on your favorite desserts as much as possible. Or should you?
Truth is, you can still enjoy desserts even when you are on a diet as long as you know which ones to pick. If you are wondering how will you enjoy some tasty treats, these sugar-free desserts are worth looking into.
- 4 ingredient chocolate chip cookies. Here’s a sugar-free dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth but without adding too much calories. This is a gluten-free and dairy-free dessert that will work nicely with your diet program. You will need a cup of sugar, 1 ½ cups of chocolate chips, a cup of peanut butter, and 2 eggs. To start, preheat your oven to 350 F. Line your baking sheets with some parchment paper. Get all the ingredients and combine them together in a bowl. You can use your hands or a mixer whichever you prefer. Fold the chocolate chips into the mixture. Use a tablespoon to drop the batter on your prepared baking sheet. Bake them for 10 to 12 minutes or until their sides become golden brown. Transfer the cookies in a rack and allow them to cool.

For this recipe, you will need half a cup of sifted coconut flour, 2 tablespoons of granulated sweetener (optional), 1 teaspoon of mixed spice, ¼ cup of almond butter, ½ cup of unsweetened applesauce, 2 cups of gluten free oat flour, ½ cup of paleo or vanilla protein powder, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of nutmeg, ½ cup of brown rice syrup, 1 tablespoon of dairy free milk. You will need to line your baking dish with some greasing paper and put it aside for now. In a large bowl, put your protein powder, granulated sweetener, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and mixed spice thenc ombine them thoroughly. Use a microwave-safe bowl for the liquid sweetener and nut butter then heat until they are melted. Pour this mixture into the dry one and mix thoroughly. Afterwards, add the unsweetened applesauce and mix them until they have been combined properly. Use a spoon to add your dairy free milk one spoon at a time until you achieve your desired consistency. Transfer them into your lined baking dish and press it firmly. Pop in the fridge for 30 minutes and you’re done.
- Frozen fruit ice cream. Another sugar-free dessert that will be a winner in your dining table is the frozen fruit ice cream. For this recipe, you will need 1 to 2 bananas and your choice of frozen berries. Cut the bananas first then freeze them for 12 hours. Put the frozen bananas and berries of your choice in a food processor and then process it. If you put more berries, you will come up with a sorbet like consistency. If you want it to become creamier, just add more bananas. Just process it until the consistency becomes creamy just like ice cream.
