For this hair mask, you will need 3 to 4 hibiscus leaves, 1 hibiscus flower, and 4 tablespoons of yogurt. Grind the leaves and the flower of the hibiscus until you create a paste. Add the yogurt and mix until you get a smooth consistency. Apply the hair mask on your hair and leave it on for an hour. Wash afterwards with shampoo and lukewarm water. This hair mask treatment should be done once or twice a week.

Prevent hair fall. Another recipe that you can take advantage of is to mix some amla powder, amla juice, and hibiscus leaves. Start by soaking some amla powder in amla juice then add the leaves of the hibiscus into the mix. Combine these ingredients together until you create a paste. Apply it on your hair and let it sit for 45 minutes before rinsing. This combination helps prevent hair fall as well as keep split-ends at bay.

Hibiscus shampoo. Did you know that you can make your own shampoo using hibiscus? Deep conditioning. Another way for you to use hibiscus is to make a deep conditioning treatment. You will need to prepare 8 hibiscus flowers and water. Grind the flowers and add the water to create a paste. Apply this on your hair and scalp and let it sit for an hour. Rinse afterwards. The effects of this treatment is the same as what you can get when you go to a hair salon for a deep conditioning treatment.

Ginger and hibiscus leaves. For those who want to promote hair growth, the combination of ginger and hibiscus leaves is guaranteed to produce some impressive results. You will need 3 tablespoons of ginger juice and 2 tablespoons of crushed hibiscus flowers. Put the ingredients in a small bowl and mix thoroughly until you create a paste. Divide your hair into sections then apply the mask on the scalp evenly all the way to the tips of your hair. After you have covered your hair completely, let the mixture set for 20 minutes. Wash your hair afterwards with lukewarm water. This remedy should be done at least twice a week to help improve hair growth.
