The probiotics present in yogurt can help bring balance to the bacteria in your stomach for better digestion. Chose plain yogurt rather than the flavored ones then add some fruit to taste. Banana is a good choice as it can help restore electrolytes in your body.
  • Drink some chamomile tea. Another home remedy to ease diarrhea is chamomile tea. This beverage has antispasmodic properties to minimize the rumbling and grumbling in your stomach. Another plus to drinking this tea is that it can reduce inflammation. To make the tea, steep a teaspoon of peppermint leaves and a teaspoon of chamomile flowers in a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes or so. Strain afterwards then drink the solution.
  • Peppermint can help. Most people associate peppermint with candies or drinks but this ingredient is actually used to ease diarrhea. If you have some peppermint plant at home, get a few sprigs of it, make sure they’re clean, and steep in them in a cup of hot water until the water is warm enough for you. Sip the drink to ease your diarrhea.
