Green tea dandruff treatment. Dandruff is a common hair problem that affects both men and women. Those who have dry scalp tend to rely on medications to soothe the offending itch, but why spend money on over-the-counter drugs when you can use green tea? To treat dandruff naturally, you should boil a cup of water in a pan then add two tablespoons of green tea leaves, a tablespoon of coconut oil, and a lemon peel. Let it boil for another two minutes before removing from heat. Once it cools, apply the solution on your hair using cotton balls and massage the dandruff treatment on your scalp for a few minutes. Leave it on for 45 minutes then rinse with shampoo. Aside from getting rid of dandruff, this treatment can also stimulate hair growth.

Green tea hair spray. Hair sprays are perfect for those times when your hair becomes unruly or are sporting some split ends that you want to hide. Fortunately, making your own green tea hair spray is quite easy and can deliver some amazing results too. To start, just brew 2 cups of green tea then transfer in a spray bottle once cooled. Spray this mixture in your hair from top to bottom then massage for a few minutes. Let the solution sit for 20 to 30 minutes then rinse with your regular shampoo. If you want more fragrance, choose flavored green tea.

Green tea conditioner. Did you know that you can also use green tea as a conditioner? You can steep two bags of green tea in a cup of hot water then add a tablespoon each of honey and coconut oil. Mix the ingredients thoroughly then apply on your hair and scalp. Leave it on for 30 minutes. What’s great about this solution is that the honey is known for moisturizing your hair so that it will have a nice sheen to it. The green tea, on the other hand, can prevent hair loss.
