Natural Recipes for Large Pores

Must read

If there’s one thing (aside from the excess oil) that people with oily skin hate, it’s visible and large pores. The pores are so big, it draws attention, and they are often called mean names such as “pot holes”, “moon craters”, or “connect the dots” because of it. Large pores don’t just affect them physically, but emotionally as well. Of course people say that it’s not about looks, but the sad thing is that not many people get that, so they end up getting hurt because they tend to think that they’re ugly because they have large, visible pores on their face.

Large, visible pores are a common problem among people with oily skin because the oil glands produce too much oil. When the excess oil combines with dirt, sweat, and dead skin cells, it clogs the pores and since this makes it difficult for oil to flow properly, the pores are enlarged. While these pores widen to allow the excess oil to flow out, oil can still remain trapped because the dead skin cells are blocking the entry.  This then leads to the formation of acne, whiteheads, and blackheads.

Cosmetic companies created over-the-counter products to address this problem. They designed bottles and creams to tighten the skin, reduce the size of the pores, remove excess dirt and oil, but the problem with these products is that they contain chemicals that might end up doing more harm than good to the skin. Dermatologists came up with services to help shrink the pores, but it’s a service that not everyone cannot afford because they cost an arm and a leg. Ouch.
