Korean Remedies for Pimples and Acne

Must read

There are lots and lots of beauty products from Korea these days, and some of the most sought after ones are those for acne and pimples — a clear sign that these cosmetic issues are the most common beauty nightmares faced by a lot of women all over the planet.

Although effective, getting your hands on those Korean solutions for pimples and acne can oftentimes be a dilemma!

First, many of them, especially those that are said to be the most effective of the bunch, tend to be on the pricey side of things. Second, you just don’t know whether what you are buying online is the real deal or a fake. Wanting to rely on some Korean beauty products can indeed create more problems.

But worry not if you don’t have the budget for those or you are just wary of ending up with a phony product — you can simply recreate some of these goodies!

If you are bugged by pimples and acne and you like to deal with them as Korean women do, try these:

Tea Tree Oil

So many Korean beauty products for pimples and acne contain tea tree oil. If you cannot afford those, then simply get your hands on a small bottle of tea tree oil — you got an instant solution for your skin problem!

However, do not attempt to daub tea tree oil directly on your pimples and acne — it’s so potent that you need to dilute it very well. For this job, you may mix two to three drops of tea tree oil with 10 to 15 drops of witch hazel. Got no witch hazel? No worries — simply dilute tea tree oil with water.

Apply the mixture on problem spots, wait for about 10 minutes, and then rinse off very well with water. Perform this natural remedy for pimples and acne once a day until you notice dramatic results.

Lemon Juice

There are tons of Korean solutions for pimples and acne that rely on vitamin C to zap those pesky imperfections. If you are on a tight budget, you’ll be glad to know that you simply have to reach for a lemon!

What you need to do is squeeze the juice of a quarter of a lemon into a small mixing bowl. Dilute with equal amounts of distilled water. Daub on problem areas and wait for about 5 to 6 minutes before rinsing it off with water. If you feel a stinging sensation, immediately wash your face and dilute lemon juice with a little more distilled water.

Aside from lemon juice, another vitamin C-rich alternative to Korean pimple and acne solutions is tomato juice. If you have really sensitive skin, cucumber juice is the perfect one for the job!

Honey

One of the simplest ways to get rid of those pimples and acne without the need to spend a lot of cash on those pricey Korean beauty products is purchasing honey — the pure and organic kind, that is.

Before hitting the hay, simply place a little honey on every blemish that you can find on your face. Leave it there as you spend time having sweet dreams — of course it’s a good idea to practice sleeping on your back to save your pillows from getting sticky. In the morning, rinse off honey with water.
