Ingredients:

1/2 cup of coconut oil

1/2 cup of shea butter

20 drops of lavender essential oil

10 drops of tea tree essential oil

Directions:

-Grab a medium-sized saucepan and fill it halfway with water. Using medium heat, allow water to heat up without bringing it to a boil. Once already hot, switch to low heat.

-Place coconut oil and shea butter in a mason jar. Carefully, place mason jar in the saucepan. Ta-dah! You just made yourself a double boiler. Wait until coconut oil and shea butter completely melt.

-Take the mason jar carefully out of the saucepan. Place it on your kitchen counter and allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes. But don’t wait for it to cool completely because it will solidify.

-While the coconut oil and shea butter mixture is still warm, stir in lavender and tea tree essential oils. Stash the mason jar in the refrigerator for a few minutes. This will solidify the mixture a lot faster.

There you have it — your very own eczema cream that will surely leave you impressed more than those pharmacy-bought counterparts that you have tried using in the past. Because it contains nothing but all-natural ingredients with soothing properties, you can be sure to attain relief from eczema upon application.

You can expect this homemade cream for eczema relief to melt if you leave it out of the refrigerator, so it’s a good idea to keep it in there if not being used. If you want it to be more spreadable, simply transfer to a mixing bowl and turn it into something similar to whipped cream with the help of a hand mixer.
