Here’s the Best Recipe for Beet Chips on the Planet

Must read

Nothing can beat beets when it comes to optimizing your health. Loaded with vitamins, minerals and super powerful antioxidants, it’s no wonder why it is regarded as a superfood.

While the nutritional profile of beets is so easy to love, not too many people are fond of their taste which brings to mind dirt. If you are one of those who cannot stand the taste of beets, there is a way for you to benefit from all of the health perks that they offer, and that’s by turning them into crunchy, tasty and nutritious chips!

But before we learn how to do that, let us momentarily put the spotlight on the fact that beets are good for you.

Here are some of the reasons why beets should be incorporated in your diet on a regular basis:

They help lower your blood pressure.

That’s because beets have compounds that are converted by your body into nitric oxide, a gas that dilates the blood vessels and causes the blood pressure to drop.

They boost your staying power.

With the blood vessels dilated because of nitric oxide, blood circulation is improved. Your muscles become supplied with all the oxygen and nutrients they need to function optimally.

They remove poisonous substances.

Beets contain betaine, which is an amino acid that has detoxifying properties. The regular consumption of beets also supports the liver.

They lower your risk of deadly cancer.

There are tons of antioxidants present in beets that zap free radicals and control inflammation. As a result, your chance of having cancer is considerably lowered.

Beets help save you from overeating and encountering hunger pangs as they make your tummy feel really full. What’s more, beets contain negligible amount of fat.

As you can see, beets are undeniably good for you — provided that you don’t mind its dirt-like taste!

Instead of covering up the taste of beets with all sorts of unhealthy dressings, why not simply consume them in the form of chips? Eating beet chips is just like snacking on greasy and salty chips that everybody seems to love, except for the fact that they are super nutritious!
